Champs Camps – January 2008
Both Junior and Senior Champs Camps were held during January with a range of players once again from across the entire country. The camp followed a similar programme to the Future Elite, however provided players who are not quite ready for the elite level the opportunity to experience top quality technical coaching from our current Blacksticks players and coaches. The interest in this camp was fantastic and in particular the Junior Age Group was extremely well supported. All these camps provide young players from across New Zealand the chance to improve their hockey game through a structured coaching programme. We look forward to seeing many of these players back next year or perhaps even stepping it up to one of our elite Camps in the future.
